About Public Halls

• There is a public hll in each nerghborhood of the city, at which local residents sign up to hold meeting or study groups free of charge (there is sometimes asmall fee for materials for cultural activities).
• Chinese martial arts, flower art, social dance, language course, erc., are some of the many classts held at local public halls. Nearby, inexpensive (sometimes free), these halls provide citizens the opportunity to learn from and teach each other.
• Many neighborhoods hold sports days and spring or autumn festivals, which provide a good chance to interact with people who live in the area.
